1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials (or OAuth tokens for Google/GitHub sign-in).

Content Data: When you use CleanDraft, we process the content you submit for auditing or editing. This includes URLs you provide for scraping and text you upload or paste.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages audited, edits performed, features used, and credit consumption.

Technical Data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and cookies necessary for authentication and session management.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To process your content through our AI editing pipeline
• To generate and store your brand voice configurations
• To track usage for billing and free tier enforcement
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service
• To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Content Processing

Content you submit is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. We do not use your content to train AI models. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and API terms. We retain processed content in your job history so you can access past results.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth with encrypted credentials. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
• Anthropic: AI content processing (Claude API)
• Vercel: Application hosting
• Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing and tax compliance

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Content processing results are retained in your job history indefinitely while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. We may retain anonymized, aggregate data for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your brand voice configurations and job history
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

9. International Data Transfers

Our services are hosted in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children's Privacy

CleanDraft is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
